Vivo subsidiary brand iQOO announces 9 series smartphones for the Indian market in collaboration with BMW. The iQOO 9 and 9 Pro both support 120W charging. Nothing has been announced yet about a possible international release.

The iQOO 9 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and has a 6.78 “amoled screen. In addition to being able to charge the 4700mAh battery with 120 watts, the device can also be wireless with a power of 50W. According to the Chinese manufacturer, the smartphone is fully charged within 20 minutes and the battery is half full within 8 minutes.

The regular iQOO 9 has a slightly smaller 6.56 “screen and is powered by a Snapdragon 888+. That device can also be charged with 120 watts, but does not support wireless charging. In this case, there is a 4350mAh battery.

Both the regular iQOO 9 and the Pro variant can be ordered in India in configurations with 8 and 12GB of ram, with 128 or 256GB storage space for the former and only 256GB storage for the latter. The devices cost respectively 508 and 769 euros converted.

Both devices have a BMW Motorsport-inspired color design; the back of the white variant has a stripe with red, black and blue. Incidentally, the car brand itself speaks about the colors blue, purple and red.

Another iQOO 9 SE, powered by a Snapdragon 888 and with a charging power of 66 watts, has also been announced. Remarkably enough, the device has a larger 6.62 “screen and a larger 4500 mAh battery compared to the regular variant. The SE version has no BMW decoration.
