iPhone SE 2: Apple event in March? You can expect this!

When can we expect the first Apple event of 2020? Last year the very first keynote of the year took place on Monday 25 March. And again this year we expect the first event in March. In any case, there are enough rumors about various new Apple products – starting with the iPhone SE 2. What can we expect from the iPhone SE 2 event? These are the most striking rumors.

1. iPhone SE 2 (or iPhone 9)

The very first iPhone SE was also announced during a March keynote – that was in 2016. Time for a successor! The iPhone SE 2 – also known as the iPhone 9 – is said to be very similar to the iPhone 8. That is, a 4.7-inch model with the classic iPhone design (with home button). Under the hood is the newest of the newest, and the price is pretty pleasant for Apple standards. Four more iPhones will also appear in the fall!

2. iPad Pro 2020

There are also plenty of rumors about a new iPad Pro. In appearance, it would look a lot like its predecessor: a screen with rounded corners and a narrow border around it. The most striking innovation? A triple camera, similar to that of the most luxurious iPhone of the moment. And you can probably buy a thoroughly revised Smart Keyboard with illuminated keys.

3. 13-inch MacBook Pro and Air

Planning to buy a 13-inch MacBook Pro? Then be patient, because the chance that Apple will present a new version this spring is considerable. That would be equipped with the new and improved keyboard with scissor mechanism that you might already know from the 16-inch MacBook Pro: there were problems with the old keyboard. The MacBook Air is also nominated for renewal for the same reason.

4. Red Apple Watch

The new Apple Watch Series 5 is available in silver, space gray and gold. Is red more your color? Then the March keynote may bring good news, because Apple may present a red Apple Watch. Part of the proceeds from red Apple products goes to a charity that is involved in the fight against AIDS in Africa. It would be the first time that a red Apple Watch appears. Red Apple Watch bands have been around for a while.

5. AirTag

We had already expected it in September, but then it shone with its absence: Apple’s own Bluetooth tracker. You attach this AirTag to your valuables: your bag, your wallet, your cat. If you have lost them, they can easily be traced via the Find my app.

6. Bundle of services

Apple is increasingly focusing on services. For example, the Apple TV + streaming service and the Apple Arcade game service appeared in 2019. Maybe you can use various Apple services at a reduced rate. Apple would consider bundling TV + and Arcade with Apple Music. Maybe iCloud storage also falls within that Apple bundle. In America, there is Apple News +, but unfortunately, that has never been rolled out in Europe.
