Intel has released a new entry-level model in its Next Unit of Computing line of mini PCs. The NUC DN2820FYK contains a Bay Trail-based Celeron soc and will be available for prices around 120-130 euros.

It was already announced in September that Intel would come up with a NUC with Bay Trail chip, but now Fanless Tech has received the device, the PC is on Intel’s site and numerous web shops offer the model, for example via Geizhals where the NUC has a starting price. of just over 120 euros. It is a NUC with type name DN2820FYK that has a Celeron N2820 dual core with a maximum clock speed of 2.4 GHz.

The user can place DDR3L memory in the Sodimm slot and a 2.5″ storage medium can be connected to the SATA 300 interface. There is also a USB 3.0 and a 2.0 port, the NUC has HDMI and can the gigabit ethernet port for connection to the internet, while there is also support for bluetooth 4.0 and wifi-n.

Thanks to the IR sensor, operation with a remote control is possible, with which the NUC can be used as an HTPC. In addition, support for VESA brackets is provided via a bracket. NUC The dimensions of the small PC are 116.6x112x55 mm.
