Some images of custom RX 5500XT video cards have appeared online. These are GPUs from ASRock and Gigabyte. The RX 5500XT is reportedly to be announced by AMD next week, but no official information is available yet.

VideoCardz has obtained images of some RX 5500XT video cards. The images show the ASRock RX 5500XT Challenger and two different Gigabyte OC video cards. The video cards all contain a Navi 14 GPU from AMD.

The ASRock Challenger has a clock speed of 1737MHz, according to VideoCardz, while the reference model from AMD is said to have a clock speed of 1717MHz. The ASRock Challenger gets three displayport connections and an HDMI port. The card has two fans and comes with a backplate. The images show a model with 8GB of gddr6 memory, but the manufacturer also comes with a version with 4GB, according to VideoCardz.

According to VideoCardz, Gigabyte will in any case come with two different RX 5500XT cards: a Gaming OC version with three fans and a ‘regular’ OC model with two fans. The Gaming OC variant has a clock speed of 1737MHz, while the OC model has to make do with 1733MHz. Both video cards get, just like the Challenger from ASRock, three display port connectors and a single HDMI connection. Both GPUs also have a backplate. According to VideoCardz, there is currently no indication that Gigabyte will come with an RX 5500XT in the Aorus series. The Gaming OC would thus become the manufacturer’s most high-end Navi 14 video card.

Earlier this week, rumors surfaced about the release of an RX 5500XT and an RX 5600XT. The former would be a variant of the RX 5500. The RX 5500 would only be available for OEMs and is therefore not sold separately. AMD is rumored to be announcing the RX 5500XT next week. In addition, the company will probably come with an RX 5600XT in early 2020. That video card would contain a Navi 10-gpu, which is also in the RX 5700 series. However, some compute units would be disabled, and the video card contains 6GB of gddr6 memory instead of 8GB.
