Huawei introduces MateBook X Pro laptop with new Intel CPUs

Huawei has introduced a new version of the MateBook X Pro. This laptop, largely similar in design to last year’s version, is now available with 10th-generation Intel CPUs.

Huawei has announced that the MateBook X Pro will be available with the i7-10510U or the i5-10210U, whether or not in combination with the GeForce MX250. The i7-10510U has a clock speed of 1.8GHz and a turbo of 4.9GHz. Users can combine that with up to 1TB of storage and up to 16GB of RAM. The design is unchanged: the laptop still has a touch-sensitive 13.9″ screen with a resolution of 3000×2000 pixels and a peak brightness of 450 cd/m². There is still a fingerprint scanner in the power button and the fold-out built-in keyboard webcam is also there.The new MateBook X Pro has a 57.4Wh battery and will be available in April for prices between 1500 and 2000 euros.

The Chinese manufacturer also comes with new versions of the cheaper Matebook D-latops. These laptops will also have a tenth-generation Intel CPU, namely the Intel Core i5-10210U, in addition to versions with the AMD RYzen 3500U processor. These laptops have screens with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels with a peak brightness of 250cd/m². The Matebook D15 with the 15.6″ screen is available with an SSD or a combination of an SSD and a hard drive. This allows a battery with a capacity of 42Wh, while the smaller Matebook D14 with the 14″ screen a 56Wh battery. As with the MateBook X Pro, there are USB connections of type-a and -c. Both Matebook D laptops with the Intel CPU will be released in April.
