The Wireless Adapter that can make a wireless vr headset from the HTC Vive and Vive Pro will be released later this summer. The manufacturer said that. The Wireless Adapter works with a standard power bank, which gives a battery life of two to three hours.

The Wireless Adapter uses an included HTC power bank with a capacity of 10.050mAh, says RoadToVR . The power bank supplies power to both the Wireless Adapter and to the headset, thus limiting battery life to a maximum of three hours. Users can then recharge the power bank within one hour.
Despite the fact that the adapter works at 60 GHz for communication with the PC, they do not interfere with each other. According to HTC three Vives can sit together in a room with a Wireless Adapter without disturbing each other. This is especially important for companies that provide demos with multiple Vive copies at the same time.
HTC announced the Wireless Adapter six months ago as an accessory for the Vive and Vive Pro. The adapter works with WiGig for communication between headset and PC instead of cables. The price is still unknown. The manufacturer will release it later this summer.
