With the 3D scanner present, users can scan objects in 2D and 3D by holding them in front of the camera. By placing a document on the touchmat, it is also possible to make a normal scan. The G2 version features a pressure-sensitive ‘Active Pen’, which allows users to draw on the touch mat. The mat must be able to distinguish between the pen and a hand. The Sprout Pro G2 has a Core i7-7700T processor on board and has 16GB of RAM. There is a SSD with a capacity of 1TB in addition to a GeForce GTX 960M GPU from Nvidia.
