If you want to see a preview image of tabs when hovering the mouse pointer, you need to enable the respective feature via Chrome flags. This feature is available in all builds of Google Chrome, Stable, Beta, Dev, and Canary. You can easily enable it in Chrome, regardless of the operating system you are using.

Open the Google Chrome browser and type chrome://flags in the address bar. Press enter to open the flags page. Type ‘tab hover’ in the search box at the top on the flag page. Then look for a flag named ‘Tab Hover Card imagesIn the resulting flags. This flag is set to “Default”. Click on it and change it to “Enabled“.

After changing the flag value, restart the browser to make it effective. Once done, you will get a preview image of tabs every time you move your mouse cursor over them.
