The sensor of the Hero 10 is a 23-megapixel model, compared to 20 megapixels for the predecessor . With the new actioncam, users can create 15.8 megapixel frame grabs from 5.3K video.

GoPro’s HyperSmooth image stabilization technology has had a minor upgrade to version 4.0. The tilt limit for horizon leveling has increased from 27 to 45 degrees. Furthermore, the weight compared to the Hero 9 with the Hero 10 has been reduced from 158 grams to 153 grams. Many other specifications have remained the same, such as the size of the LCDs and the battery capacity.

The Hero 10 Black will cost 530 euros. GoPro will also continue to ship the Hero 9 for $430, while the Hero 8 will remain available for $330.
