The technical specifications of the as yet unannounced GoPro Hero 11 Black have appeared online. Although the appearance of the action camera resembles that of the Hero 10 Black, it is reportedly getting a new cmos sensor. The camera would be unveiled around mid-September.

The details are posted by the German tech website WinFuture, who also previously posted images of the new GoPro. The new cmos sensor, combined with the angle of view of the lens, would provide the “widest field of view on a GoPro yet,” WinFuture claims. The device can take 27-megapixel photos and extract 24.7-megapixel images from videos. The GoPro would also have HyperSmooth 5.0 for image stabilization.

Furthermore, the Hero 11 Black does not seem to differ much from its predecessor. The new model will still record 5.3k videos at 60fps and 4k footage at up to 120 frames per second. In addition, it has a 2.27″ touchscreen on the back and an additional 1.4″ screen on the front. It is not yet known when the camera will be available and how much it will cost. According to WinFuture, the GoPro Hero 11 Black will be announced in mid-September.
