Google Home successor Nest Audio will be released in two weeks. The speaker has a different design that is more reminiscent of the Google Home Max and, according to the American company, has better sound than its predecessor. The Nest Audio can produce 75 percent more volume than the Google Home from 2016 and has a 50 percent stronger bass. The American company has equipped the speaker with a 19mm tweeter and a 75mm larger mid-woofer for the bass, as well as some new functions to adjust the sound. With Media EQ, the speaker adjusts the audio to what the user is playing, whereby the sound must sound different with voices than, for example, with music. With Ambient EQ, the speaker has to adapt to the background noise in the house. The speaker has a different design than its predecessor and is now covered with fabric. The speaker will go on sale for 100 euros in two weeks. That also happens in the Benelux, Google says.
