Activision will release Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions on November 25 for PC, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. The Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions will follow a day later, Activision has announced.

Activision already announced the game in August, but has only now announced the release date. Developer Sierra has broken new ground under owner Activision and has produced a game with Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions for years. The game series was originally developed by Bizarre Creations, but Activision closed the doors of that game studio in 2011.

In the survival game, enemies have to be eliminated with a ship. Players earn points with this. However, the upcoming Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions offers a new “perspective” on the Geometry Wars series, according to Activision. New 3D environments, several new enemies and bosses, and new game modes have been added to the game.

PS3 and PS4 users will be able to download the game from PlayStation Store starting November 25. Users can get the PC version through Steam on the same day. The Xbox 360 and Xbox One copies will follow on November 26. Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions will cost $14.99 on all platforms, which is roughly $11.85.
