Fujifilm will present the latest flagship of its system cameras with aps-c sensors, the X-T4, on February 26. The company has also announced the X100V, a new high-end compact camera with a fixed lens.

Fujifilm says the X100V features a newly designed 23mm f/2.0 lens, which should improve sharpness in corners and close-ups. This fifth model in the series has received the aps-c-sized bsi sensor from the X-T3; it has a resolution of 26.1 megapixels. This is combined with the X-Processor 4 image processor. Furthermore, the hybrid viewfinder has been improved; when the optical viewfinder is not used, an OLED screen with a resolution of 3.69 million pixels is now available for the first time.

The manufacturer has added eye and face autofocus to the X100V and shooting is done at 11 frames per second with the mechanical shutter, increasing to 20 frames per second with the electronic shutter. The touch-sensitive LCD on the back is now tiltable. You can make videos in 4k resolution with a maximum of 30fps, or in 1080p with 120fps for slow-motion recordings. The X100V will be available in a black and a silver edition and will cost 1499 euros.

During the so-called X Summit, Fujifilm also announced that the successor to the X-T3 introduced in September 2018 will be unveiled on February 26. Little information is known about the specifications of the X-T4, but there are speculations that the camera will get a stabilized sensor like the X-H1, in addition to support for shooting 6k videos at 60 frames per second and with a color depth of 10bit.
