Fractal Design releases a new version of its Define R6 case, which features an I/O panel with a USB-C connection. The company also comes with separate accessories for the cabinet, such as a side panel made of tempered glass.

The Define R6 with usb-c is the same cabinet that Fractal Design released at the end of last year, but with the addition of a usb-c connection. That connection supports fast charging and USB 3.1 gen2 for a maximum throughput of 10Gbit/s. The housing is available in black, gray and white and there is a choice of a variant with a side panel made of tempered glass or a version with a closed panel.

Earlier, Fractal Design already released an accessory, the Connect D1, with which people could replace the panel of their R6 housing for one with USB-C.

Fractal Design also releases new accessories. For example, the panel with tempered glass is available separately for the R6 housings. Users who have purchased the version with a solid panel can upgrade to a version with a glass panel that way.

In addition, the brand comes with a set of drive trays, with which users can add mounting options for two 3.5″ HDDs to their cabinet. There is also a kit that makes it possible to attach two 2.5″ SSDs. Fractal Design has not disclosed recommended retail prices. The regular Define R6, without usb-c, costs about 115 euros at the time of writing.
