Fortnite seems to get tournament option with different modes

Fortnite will probably get an option for tournaments. In a video from developer Epic Games, a solo, duo and squad mode can be seen in the new “Tournaments” tab. Epic Games itself has not yet published a post about the tab.

The ‘Support-A-Creator Event’ video shows a tab called Tournaments. Four data miners searched for the tournament files in the game in response to the video. Sr DraBx, one of the data miners, has a screenshot shared one of his findings via Twitter. He concludes from this that players receive badges when they reach a certain number of points. Whether the badges are functional, cosmetic or both is not yet known.

According to Fortnite Intel, it can be concluded from the data found that the first tournaments in solo and duo mode are limited to play. The first solo tournament is the Salty Springs Cup. That would take place from October 27 to 31, and players would be given three chances to complete the tournament. The squad mode can be played weekly, according to the website, but only on Fridays.
