Download Firmware Xtreamer Prodigy 4.1

New firmware for the Xtreamer Prodigy has been released. These Realtek 1186 chipset equipped media players are designed to play and stream media files from the optional built-in hard drive, a device on the internal network, wired or wireless, or over the Internet. There is a topic on our own GoT with more information about these and other Xtreamer models. Version 4.0 includes a new music player and MiniDLNA, a server that can stream media to various mobile devices. Furthermore, the device is now able to retrieve information about the media files from the Internet. Version 4.1 also brings the following changes and improvements:

Improvements

• New player for background music on image slideshows
• DVD, BluRay, BDMV – new popup on entering the folder (play or browse)
• Remote control enhancements:
  • Number keypad now can be used to enter numbers in virtual keyboard
• On the main screen:
  • F1 – list all movie files
  • F2 – list all music files
  • F3 – list all image files
• Movie files with multiple subtitles – F4 select subtitle language
• Sycn Sub button now used to adjust the subtitle position

Bug fixed

• 2.0Ch AAC/MKA/M4A audio files when the Prodigy/SideWinder3 is set to 5.1Ch SPDIF issue – fixed
• Several issues that were causing reboots – fixed
• Number of minor bug fixes and performance improvements.
