Pioneer has released a new firmware for the DRV-107D drive. The version number has arrived at 1.15 and has undergone the following changes according to the changelog:

• Support 8X writing on New Prodisc DVD-R Media
• Support 8X writing on New MBI +R Media
• Support 8X writing on New Optodisc +R Media
• Support 8X writing on New Philips +R Media
