Firmware update: Nikon D7500 1.10

Nikon has for its D7500 digital SLR cameras released new firmware, with version number 1.10. These cameras have an aps-c format dx-cmos image sensor with 20.9 megapixels on board and are suitable for lenses with a Nikon F mount. The firmware can be installed from a Windows or macOS machine and is approximately 24MB in size. The list of changes for this update is as follows:

Changes from “C” Firmware Version 1.01 to 1.10

  • The camera can now connect to devices with SnapBridge installed via Wi-Fi. For more information, see the “Owner’s Manual Supplement” that describes this feature. Before using this feature, you must upgrade to the following version of the app:
    SnapBridge version 2.5.4 or higher
  • The following issues have been resolved:
    • When the mode dial was rotated from P to U1 and then back to P, the ISO sensitivity was set to the value selected for U1.
    • Repeatedly pressing the zoom in and zoom out button during movie live view caused unexpected behavior when 3840×2160; 30p was selected for Frame size/frame rate in the MOVIE RECORDING MENU.
