Firmware update: Mede8er MED400X2 / MED450X2 / MED500X2 3.0.1 beta

Mede8er has released new beta firmware for the X2 series media players. The models from the X2 series – which consists of the MED400X2, MED450X2 and MED500X2 – are built around a Realtek 1185 media processor and include Gigabit LAN and USB 3.0. The 400 cannot accommodate a hard drive, the 450 has space for a 2.5″ copy and the 500 can handle a 3.5″ model with a capacity of up to 3TB. Version 3.0.1 contains a modest list of minor changes and improvements.
