Firmware Update: Draytek Vigor 3220 3.8.4

Draytek has for his Vigor 3220 Series routers released new firmware. These routers have four Gigabit Ethernet WAN ports, one Gigabit Ethernet DMZ port, and one Gigabit Ethernet LAN port. In addition, there is one console port and two USB ports with which, among other things, a 3/4g USB dongle can be connected. Furthermore, there is the choice to take the Vigor 3220 without wireless options, or to choose the Vigor 3220n, which also offers 802.11n. The version number has arrived at 3.8.4 and includes the following changes:

  • Support IPv6 RIPng.
  • Support Central Switch Management.
  • Support DNS Security.
  • Support firewall diagnosis in Firewall>>Diagnosis.
  • Support USB thermometer.
  • Support multi gateway in LAN subnet.

Improvement

  • Improved: Security improvements including one or more considered critical.
  • Improved: Function improvements for session limit, bandwidth limit, flow and IPv6.
  • Improved: Improvement for IP Object.
