Firmware update: Draytek Vigor 2910/G/i/V/VG/VGi 3.0.7

Draytek has released a new firmware, with 3.0.7 as the version number, for its vigor 2910-, Vigor 2910G-, Vigor 2910i-, Vigor 2910V-, Vigor 2910VG– and Vigor 2910VGicrouters. These routers are suitable for controlling two WAN connections and can apply load balancing and BoD. The V version can also handle VoIP connections and the G version adds a wireless access point. The included list of customizations looks like this:

New Features:

  • Add VPN Backup.
  • Support more 3G USB modems and mobile phones. Please check notes for details.
  • Support USB HUB for 3G modem and printer working at the same time.
  • Support Vista IKE AES128/192/256 encryption and MODP Group14-2048 for VPN.
  • Support Disable mode (always on) for WAN Connection Detection.
  • Support 2nd subnet (routing subnet) for Bandwidth limit and Data Flow Monitor.

Notes:

    The Hauwei E220, Option GlobeSurfer iCON, Option GlobeSurfer iCON 7.2, 4G System XSPlug P3, Sierra AirCard 875U, Zapp Telemodem Z020, Telstra Next G, ZTE AC8700 3G USB Modems and Benq EF91, Nokia N70, 6233 mobile phones are verified. The future supported 3G modems and mobile phone will be listed on DrayTek web site.
