Download Firmware Crucial RealSSD C300 0002

Crucial has released new firmware for its RealSSD C300 solid state drives with 0002 as the version designation. There are improvements across the board, such as improved power consumption and improved performance of the trim command. The corresponding list of changes looks like this:

• Improved data management to reduce maximum write latency
• Improved Performance of SSD as it fills up with data

Note: This requires a Low Level Format to the SSD which will erase any data on the drive. Please ensure that your data is backed up prior to performing the Firmware Update. We are hopeful that future Firmware revisions/updates will not be destructive.
