Cowon has new firmware released for its iAudio M3 players, which is version 1.34. The update is only available as a zip package to download and comes with two new features, four improvements and four bug fixes. Below you can read exactly which ones they are:
New Features
- Korean is now supported as a menu language
- Added short key in Navigator, which lets you navigate to the Root folder directly. (By pressing “REW long” )
Improved Features
- Improved the limit of M3U file. (Maximum file size of 128KB, 1000 tracks per playlist)
- Fixed the playback and total time display of VBR mp3 files (Exception: some mp3 files without VBR header)
- Changed the form of FLAC TAG (From MBSC form to UTF8 form)
- Fixed problem with the shuffle mode. (Pattern was the same all the time once you rebooted the M3)
Fixed Bugs
- Fixed bug: Synchronized Lyrics timing for OGG files did not work correctly
- Fixed bug: FLAC file tag was not displayed
- Fixed Bug: When no file was located in the root directory and “Directory Boundary” and “Shuffle” were active, then the device would shut down, freeze or display “no file”
- Fixed bug: Some m3u files with a specific file name were not recognized
