Firmware Update: Asus P4S8X 1005.006

Asus has released a new BIOS for the P4S8X motherboard. Beta version 1005.006 ships with the following changes from the previous release:

Re-enable Memory Turbo function as an option for users with high quality modules. (Please run under normal mode if your system is not stable under memory turbo mode.)

Serial ATA control code modified to improve satiability of serial-ata HDD.

New feature added, “BIOS recovery from CD”. Now users can recover damaged BIOS by using the new version of our support CD[break]
