Download Firmware Asrock K7S8X 2.3
Asrock just released a new BIOS for the K7S8X motherboards that fixes some minor but annoying issues:
Version 2.30:
- Fine tuned ATi 9800 AGP card.
- If CD-ROM is connected with HDD on same IDE channel, Windows XP can be installed correctly.
- “IDE Driving” option was added in the BIOS setup.
- Athlon XP 2600+ CPU should be displayed correctly on the POST.
- Low speed fan should be detected correctly.
