The Eindhoven company ZENS has made the Liberty available, a charging mat on which users can place up to two devices in any location to charge them wirelessly.

The ZENS Liberty works on the basis of the Qi standard. The company has integrated sixteen overlapping coils under the surface of the loading mat. As a result, users can place Qi-enabled devices anywhere on the surface to charge them wirelessly. The Liberty supports charging up to two devices in this way.

The charger offers a total output of 30W, or twice 15W for two devices. It also supports fast charging for Apple and Samsung devices. There is a USB type-a port that works at 2.4A, so that you can also charge devices wired. ZENS provides an optional USB stick especially for the Apple Watch to be able to charge this wearable. This MFi-certified stick can charge all generations of the Apple Watch. The Liberty itself gets its power via a USB-C connection with a 60W power supply.

The ZENS Liberty Glass Edition with glass plate costs 180 euros, the version with cladding 140 euros. ZENS asks 40 euros for the USB stick for the Apple Watch.
