Download Driver For SoundBlaster Live! for XP/2K

Tyrian writes: “Creative has now also released new Windows XP drivers for the first and second generation SoundBlaster Live! cards.

The version number is 5.12.01.3509 and they are WHQL certified.”

Hopefully this was worth the wait. You can download via this link (9.3MB). Only Sound Blaster PCI 16, Vibra128 and AudioPCI owners should now be patient on official Creative drivers….

This is a stand-alone driver update of Sound Blaster Live!/Value/5.1 for users running on Windows 2000 and Windows XP only.

This release includes 1) Audio HQ and 2) Surround Mixer, and will patch up the following softwares if found on your computer:

• PlayCenter2
• MiniDisc Center
• Recorder
