Download Driver For Realtek AC’97 A4.05

It has been six months since Realtek released drivers for controlling the AC’97 sound chip, which can be found on many budget cards and in onboard solutions. An update for the audio chip was released yesterday. The version number is A4.05 and downloads for the different versions of Windows can be found on this ftp server. In addition to the driver, the Realtek Media Player (Rtlrack) has also been updated to the same version number. Among other things, this version solves a bsod problem and has an improved 3d engine on board. The full changelog for this release is as follows:
