Download Driver For nVidia nForce4 AMD/Intel X16 6.86 WHQL

nVidia has released new drivers for motherboards equipped with its nForce4 AMD or nForce 4 Intel X16 chipset. The drivers have been given version number 6.86 WHQL and can be downloaded via this ftp folder for Windows 2000 and Windows XP and Windows XP x64.The nForce driver package consists of a number of drivers for the various components associated with the nForce chipset. For example, the package includes drivers for the Ethernet controller, I/O hardware and sound card. In the new 6.68 release, not all drivers are WHQL certified; the release notes tell you exactly which driver versions this package consists of:

Release Notes

Installation Notes

• Uninstall any existing nForce networking drivers prior to installing this package.
• Windows XP users must install Service Pack 1, at a minimum, prior to attempting to install this package. Failure to do so will result in the inability to support USB 2.0.
• Installation of DirectX 9.0 or higher is required in order to use NVMixer.
