Mircosoft has released new versions of their IntelliType Pro and IntelliPoint Mouse software, both with 5.0 version numbers. IntelliType Pro provides support for additional keyboard functions in the operating system, IntelliPoint Mouse provides additional support for additional mouse functions on Microsoft products. IntelliType Pro Software

IntelliType Pro software enables the unique features of your Microsoft® keyboard and lets you customize it to fit your needs. For example, you can:

• Reassign many of the keys to open a program, file or Web page-or to perform a command (such as Find or Show Desktop).
• Disable keys you sometimes press accidentally (such as CAPS LOCK).

For Windows 98/ME/NT4/2000/XP, Mac OS X version 10.1 to 10.1.3 (excluding 10.0) and Mac OS 8.6 to 9.x

IntelliPoint Mouse Software

IntelliPoint software enables the unique features of your Microsoft mouse and lets you customize it to fit your needs. For example, you can:

• Reassign each of the mouse buttons, including the wheel button, to perform a command or keyboard shortcut (such as Undo or Close).
• Modify the mouse settings (such as the pointer speed or how quickly the screen moves when you scroll).
