Based on its protection against dust and water, this rugged laptop has been given an IP65 rating and Dell has during testing, the system falls from 1.80 meters without significant problems. This laptop comes standard with a matte touchscreen with screen brightness of 1400cd/m².

Dell can equip versions of the laptops with different Intel Tiger Lake vPro processors and amounts of memory. For the Latitude 5430 Rugged, there is a choice of a Quadro T500 video card. There is no such option for the 7330 Rugged Extreme. However, they can both be equipped with a Qualcomm X55 modem that brings 5G and Wi-Fi 6E support to the laptops.
