Music streaming service Deezer has released a beta version of a universal Windows 10 app. Deezer Music Preview offers the same functions and synchronization on all smartphones, tablets and computers with Windows 10.

Deezer has had a Windows 10 app for some time, but it’s different for smartphones, tablets, and computers. Therefore, functionality and design are not the same on all devices. That should be the case with the universal app. All users can now download the Deezer Music Preview app from the Windows app store.

According to Deezer, the company has been working with Microsoft on the universal app in recent months. The design has been updated and a new My Music tab has been added, which should contain users’ favorite music. Also, all updates and changes are synchronized with other devices, if users have installed the app on their smartphone and PC, for example.

Competing services, such as Spotify, Apple Music and Google Play Music, do not yet have a universal Windows app. Only Microsoft’s own Groove Music service was ahead of Deezer. It is not yet clear when the Deezer app will permanently replace the old app.
