The makers are working on a port for hardware that contains a RISC-V processor with 64bit. The makers say they are making ‘good progress’ with that port.
The makers expect to officially support RISC-V in Trixie, version 13 of the distribution. The official stable version is not expected to be released for about two years, but testers can get started with an unstable version sooner. The developers say that RISC-V support is subject to architectural qualifications, which will not be released until an unknown later date.
