Codemasters will release GRID Legends racing game under the EA banner next year. As in the previous installments, the game features different types of car racing, but this time the focus is also on characters. The game contains movies with actors.
With a first trailer of GRID Legends, Codemasters introduces the new approach to the game. Various fictional drivers speak and tell about their motives for participating in the equally fictional racing competitions.
According to the GRID Legends website, players can upgrade and customize their cars, and the game features 130 “routes,” including well-known tracks such as Brands Hatch and Indianapolis. In addition, locations from previous GRID games are returning and new locations are being added.
The game will be released next year for Xbox and PlayStation consoles, as well as on Steam and via EA Origin. It is not yet known for which console generations GRID Legends will be released, and it is also not yet clear when the game will be released in 2022.
