Capcom re-releases Street Fighter II on SNES cartridge

In celebration of Street Fighter’s 30th anniversary, Capcom in partnership with iam8bit is re-releasing Street Fighter II on a working SNES cartridge. The edition is limited to 5500 copies.

The reissue comes with a booklet and special packaging. There will be two variants of the cartridge, named Opaque Ryu Headband Red and Glow in the Dark Blanka Green. The first is a red cartridge and the second is clear and finished with green fluorescent paint.

Capcom and iam8bit are making 5500 copies of the reissue, of which 4500 on the red cartridge and 1000 on the clear version. When ordering it is not possible to choose, the two versions are delivered randomly. The reissue of the SNES classic will cost $100. Converted with VAT, that is about 102 euros. Orders will be delivered in November.
