Biostar introduces mini PC with Intel Atom processor
On the Computex, Biostar has introduced a mini PC with Atom processor. The computer has an Intel Cherry Trail processor and is executed in Biostars ‘Racing’ colors, where the logo can light up thanks to RGB LEDs.
The Biostar Racing P1 measures 129 by 82 by 29.6 millimeters and is equipped with an Atom x5-Z8350 processor with a turbo speed of 1.92 GHz. The RAM is 4 GB and for storage there is 64 GB emmc memory. This can be expanded with micro-SD cards, which can be inserted into the slot on the front of the PC.
Next to the micro-SD slot are two USB connections, one of which supports USB 2.0 and a USB 3.0 speed. There are four USB 2.0 ports on the back. Displays can be connected via HDMI and gigabit Ethernet and a wireless network card with 802.11ac support are available for network connections.
The ‘Racing’ logo at the top can light up in all possible colors thanks to RGB LEDs and Biostar also reports that the system will consume a maximum of twenty watts. The Racing P1 will be available in the summer of this year for around 170 euros.
