BenQ introduces two 1080p gaming monitors with 144Hz IPS panels

BenQ has announced two new gaming monitors in its Mobiuz series. This concerns a 27 “model and a 24.5” variant. Both screens have a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The monitors cost 320 and 280 euros respectively.

The BenQ EX2710 and EX2510 are, apart from the dimensions, almost identical to each other. For example, both screens have an IPS panel with a claimed response time of 1ms, based on mprt . The gtg response time is 2ms according to BenQ. The monitors also have a refresh rate of 144Hz. Both the EX2710 and EX2510 can display 99 percent of the srgb color space, with 8-bit colors. The maximum brightness is 400cd / m².

BenQ provides the screens with two HDMI 2.0 connectors and a DisplayPort 1.2 connector. Both screens further support FreeSync Premium via the DisplayPort connection. That is, the monitors provide “compensation for low frame rates” in addition to the regular FreeSync specification. Both models are equipped with two 2.5W speakers and a 3.5mm jack for headphones.

The included stand is adjustable in height by 130mm and can also be tilted vertically and rotated horizontally. According to the specifications, the foot is about 21.7 centimeters deep. The monitor arm can also be replaced by a VESA 100mm mount. According to German website Hifitest , the 27 “variant will cost 320 euros, while the 24.5” model will get a suggested retail price of 280 euros. The EX2710 will be available in August. The EX2510 follows a month later.
