Asus RoG Strix B350-mitx motherboard for Ryzen CPUs appears at online store

A Swedish web shop has posted images and specifications of Asus’ first mitx motherboard for Ryzen CPUs. It concerns the variant with the B350 chipset. The brand previously announced that there will also be an X370 model.

The motherboard can be seen at the Swedish webshop Inet with a price of 1,899 crowns, converted almost 200 euros. The small motherboard with AM4 socket is equipped with Asus’ Aura Sync for RGB lighting and offers space for two strips of DDR4 memory. There is support for 32GB ddr4 at 3200MT/s according to the product page. Furthermore, the B350-I board has one PCI-e-x16 slot for a video card and two M2 slots for SSDs.

At the beginning of September, Asus announced to the German ComputerBase that the brand will make two mini-itx motherboards with AM4 socket. In addition to the B350-I Gaming that can now be seen in photos, it is an X370-I Gaming variant. The two plates should be released in October. Asus has not yet made an official announcement of the motherboards and it is not clear when they will be available.

So far, there are three manufacturers offering mini-itx motherboards with AM4 socket for Ryzen CPUs. ASRock has Fatal1ty motherboards with X370 and B350 chipset in its range, Biostar offers the same choice in its Racing series. Gigabyte has only released a small B350 motherboard. Whether and when other brands such as MSI will come with mini-itx motherboards for Ryzen CPUs is not yet known.
