ASUS confirms the arrival of these motherboards on Reddit, with the company reporting that it will be coming with more details soon. The company is disclosing little concrete information, although the manufacturer does mention its ROG Crosshair VIII and ROG Strix X570 motherboard models in a teaser at Twitter. Possibly this one will fanless X570 refresh therefore affects only a few models, and not the complete X570 line-up from ASUS, although this has not yet been confirmed.

Incidentally, these would not be the first ASUS motherboards with a passively cooled X570 chipset. The motherboard manufacturer already released a Crosshair VIII Dark Hero last year. That motherboard was broadly the same as the regular Crosshair VIII Hero, although the Dark Hero variant included a passively cooled chipset and slightly better VRMs. The Crosshair VIII Dark Hero is in the Pricewatch for € 448.99, while the regular Crosshair VIII costs € 375.
