Asus launches two gaming laptops and ‘Ares’ gaming desktop
Asus has launched two notebooks and a desktop designed for the avid gamer. The Ares CG6155 can be equipped with three Geforce GTX 280 cards, while the notebooks have the Geforce 9700M GT.
The Asus G71 notebook is designed for the gamers who are not easily satisfied. The device has a 17″ screen and can be equipped with up to 4GB of memory, 1TB of storage and a quad-core processor. The G50 notebook is aimed at the price-conscious gamer and offers a 15.4″ or 15.6″ display. screen, a maximum of 4GB of RAM, 640GB of storage space and a Core 2 Duo CPU.However, the G50 has not cut corners on the video card: just like the G71, the notebook has a Geforce 9700M GT. Both notebooks are immediately available available, where the G50 can be found on the shelves at the American retail chain Best Buy from $ 1249. However, Asus does not report in the press release how much the G71 will cost.
In addition to the two gaming notebooks, Asus also has a desktop pc placed on the market. The Ares CG6155 can be equipped with a Core 2 Extreme QX9650 that is standard overclocked to 4GHz, 8GB DDR3 memory, three Geforce GTX 280 video cards, 4TB storage space, two 1000W power supplies and a Blu-ray drive. The CG6155 is also immediately available, but from what amount is left in the dark.
