Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is getting a new expansion this summer. Developer Ubisoft announced this during its Ubisoft Forward presentation. It will be the game’s second expansion; Wrath of the Druids came out in May.

Ubisoft previously announced that The Siege of Paris is set during the Siege of Paris in 845; set during a Viking invasion of Francia. Players must “reveal the secrets of enemies” and “form strategic alliances” in the DLC, the developer reports.

Furthermore, Black Box infiltration missions make a return in the expansion, which were introduced in Assassin’s Creed Unity and Syndicate. In such a mission, players get a goal to achieve, but the way they achieve it is up to players themselves, the developer reports during his E3 presentation. The Siege of Paris also adds new skills, weapons, equipment and enemies. Ubisoft has not stated a specific release date for the expansion.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is also getting a Discovery Tour called Viking Age this fall. In that mode, players can freely travel through the game world and learn about the history of the Viking era. In the Viking Age mode, gamers can also play as residents of the game world, following them as they go about their daily business. The Discovery Tour will be available for free to anyone who owns Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
