Apple’s streaming service is getting competition from Disney+

With Apple TV +, Apple is involved in a streaming war between Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu. And to make things even more difficult for them, Disney is also launching a streaming service this year: Disney +. Last night the company announced more about the video service, which is probably also available on the iPhone and iPad.

Disney + streaming service

On Thursday, the media company demonstrated its Disney + app to investors. It will be available in the United States from November 12 and will cost $ 6.99 a month. An annual subscription is also possible for $ 69.99. That makes Disney + a lot cheaper than Netflix. Nothing is yet known about the price of Apple’s video streaming service.

A shared screenshot of Disney boss Bob Iger reveals that the design is similar is with Netflix and Apple TV +. Disney + has a dark theme, in which you navigate from left to right through the different films and series. The recommended titles are listed above, and below you will find content that you have already viewed. In addition, in the app you can also visit the range of Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic.

In 2020 there is already enough to bing. You then have access to 7500 episodes and 400 films, including classics such as Bambi and Alladin. In addition, there will be 25 original series and 10 original films. This includes, for example, the Star Wars series The Mandalorian and a new version of Lady and the Vagabond.

Disney + is accessible via an app that will probably find its way to the Apple App Store. In addition, you can watch the films and series via web browsers, smart TVs and game consoles.
