Apple has released another update for its iOS operating system. Version 13.1.1 has fixed a number of issues, including one where the battery was draining faster than usual. Problems with Siri and restoring a backup have also been fixed.

The update will be released for both iPhones and iPads, noted 9To5Mac, who also posted the changelog of the new software version online. The software for iPads is now called iPadOS. The version number suggests that minor changes have been made, and the changelog shows that it was mainly about fixing bugs.

One of the issues in iOS 13.1 was that some users’ battery drained faster than usual. That should no longer be the case in 13.1.1. Also, an error where Siri sometimes does not understand the user properly should be fixed. In addition, an issue with restoring a backup has been removed from the software, as well as minor issues with third party keyboards, Safari, and Reminders.

Apple only released iOS 13.1 a few days ago, relatively shortly after the release of version 13. It’s not uncommon for the manufacturer to release a few new iterations with fixes shortly after the release of a new iOS version.
