Apple has announced the Apple Watch Series 7 at its own event. The new clock has a modified design with a slightly larger screen. The clock will be released “later this year” and will cost at least $399.

The watch has an ip6x rating for dust resistance. The watches come in at 41 and 45mm, compared to 40 and 44mm of the previous Watch models. The clocks can load faster. For example, it is possible to charge the Watch for 45 minutes to fill the battery to 80 percent. With an eight-minute charge, users can use sleep tracking for eight hours, Apple says.

WatchOS 8 also includes improvements for cycling. For example, the software calculates the calories better when users use an e-bike and the fall detection system works better with bicycles. The new Watch will be released this fall. The cheapest version with 41mm housing and Wi-Fi only will cost $399, while the larger version should cost $449. The Watch SE and Watch 3 also remain in the range, for $279 and $199. Euro prices have not yet been announced.
