AppDynamic is a SQL Server performance monitoring tool. The AppDynamics Database Monitoring product module for Microsoft SQL Server. This is a comprehensive tool to monitor versions 2000, 2005, 2008, 2012 and 2014 of SQL Server instances running on any platform.
This non-stop[ deep-dive tool offers a lot of feature set that includes such attributes as buffer management; pessimistic and optimistic concurrency control; an ETL (Extract-Transfer-Load) tool, OLAP (Online Analytical Processing) capabilities; messaging and alert technologies; Database Mirroring using Windows Clustering for High Availability; Remote Replication using AlwaysOn for disaster recovery; and in-memory column store. SQL Server 2014 will include in-memory transaction processing technology, in addition to other new features.
