The company AOC has released a 23″ monitor in which the base is equipped with a docking station for an iPod or iPhone. Media files can be displayed directly on the 1080p screen via the docking station.
The AOC E2343FI Aire iPlay monitor is 1.3 centimeters thick and offers a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels on the 23″ TFT panel with LED backlight. The dynamic contrast ratio is specified at 50,000,000:1, while the brightness would be 250cd/m² The manufacturer gives a response time of 2ms.
There is a dock in the base of the Aire iPlay in which an iPhone or iPod can be placed. According to AOC, videos, music files and photos can be displayed directly on the screen from a smartphone or media player.
The video connections can also be found in the foot: a VGA and an HDMI input. Two speakers of 5W each are also incorporated in the housing. The power consumption of the display would be a maximum of 33W. The street price of the AOC E2343FI Aire Play is approximately 300 euros.
