Analyst: Apple may release iPhone SE with 5.7″ screen next year

According to DSCC analyst Ross Young, Apple may already release an iPhone SE with a larger 5.7″ screen next year. Before that, the manufacturer would come with an ‘iPhone SE+ 5G’, which again has a 4.7″ screen. LCD gets.

Ross Young of analyst firm Display Supply Chain Consultants reports on Twitter that Apple’s fourth-generation iPhone SE may already be released next year; previously, that phone was expected to arrive in 2024. In addition, the analyst reports that it was previously said that the SE model would have a 5.7″ or 6.1″ screen. “Looks like it’s going to be 5.7″ now,” Young added.

Young reports further Apple will also release a new iPhone SE this year. According to the analyst, that model will be called ‘SE+ 5G’. This phone would also get a 4.7″ LCD, just like the current iPhone SE that was introduced in 2020. The latter was already expected in previous rumors. The iPhone SE+ 5G should also get a newer soc that will also support 5G offer, as the name suggests.

Young doesn’t mention an exact release date for the iPhone SE+ 5G in his tweets, but previous rumors have stated that the phone should be released in the first half of 2022. Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman recently spoke of an Apple event in March or April where the iPhone SE may be announced.
