But the most important feature is that the new Siri is integrated into all your apps, so that the assistant can help you on a much more personal level than the other chatbots of the moment.

First step already in iOS 26.4

Apple will offer a new version of Siri in iOS 26.4, an update that will be released in the spring. This is not yet the chatbot that we get in iOS 27, but it is an improved voice assistant built on Google Gemini technology. The upgrade makes the assistant much more helpful than it was before. This way, Siri can see what’s happening on your screen, it better understands the context of your questions, and the assistant can perform tasks for you within apps.
