YouTube user RedGamingTech has shared the alleged specs of AMD’s unannounced Radeon RX 7700 XT and 7800 XT. The youtuber also shares specifications of a Radeon RX 7800 XTX, but its release would ‘probably’ be scrapped.
RedGamingTech shared the specs in a recent video, also noted tech website OC3D. According to RedGamingTech, the Radeon RX 7800 XT will get a Navi 32 GPU with 60 compute units. The video card would also get 16GB of GDDR6 memory on a 256bit memory bus, in addition to four mcd chiplets for a total of 64MB of Infinity Cache. The youtuber talks about a tbp of 285W. The performance of the RX 7800 XT is said to be “close to” that of the Radeon RX 6950XT and slightly below that of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti.

The Radeon RX 7700 XT will be a lower positioned desktop video card with a Navi 32 GPU. The video card would therefore have 54 CUs and 12GB of memory on a narrower 192-bit memory bus. The video card would also feature three additional chiplets for 48MB of Infinity Cache. According to RGT, the video card will have a 225W tbp and would compete with the unreleased GeForce RTX 4060 Ti, which has also been rumored for some time.
The youtuber also talks about a Radeon RX 7800 XTX. That desktop video card would have a Navi 31 GPU, just like the current Radeon RX 7900 XT and XTX. The video card would get 70 CUs and 16GB of GDDR6 memory on a 256bit memory bus. According to the youtuber, that video card has four mcd chips for 64MB Infinity Cache. The tbp of this model would be 300W and the video card would compete with the RTX 4070 Ti. AMD would have “probably scrapped” the release of the Radeon RX 7800 XTX, the youtuber says.
AMD released its first Radeon RX 7000 desktop graphics cards late last year, in the form of the Radeon RX 7900 XT and XTX. The company hasn’t yet shared details about lower-end graphics cards for PCs, though it did announce laptop variants in early January. AMD also recently introduced a Radeon PRO W7000 series for workstations, including a Radeon PRO W7800 variant that resembles the presumably deprecated Radeon RX 7800 XTX.
