Acer Swift X laptop with 14 “screen, Ryzen 5000 CPU and RTX 3050 Ti costs 999 euros

Acer introduces the Swift X, a 14 “laptop with a weight of 1.4 kg and equipped with an AMD Ryzen 5000 processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti video card. The laptop should be released in the fourth quarter, for prices starting at 999 euro.

The Acer Swift X is the first model in Acer’s Swift line with a separate GPU. According to the announcement, Acer uses Ryzen 5000 processors with Zen 3 cores, up to the Ryzen 7 5800U. There is a maximum of 16GB of ram in the laptop. As far as GPU is concerned, Acer mentions one option: the GeForce RTX 3050 Ti.

The 14-inch ips panel has a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and a maximum brightness of 300cd / m². The screen can display the full sRGB color space, says Acer. The laptop has a metal chassis, weighs 1.39kg and is 17.5 lbs. 9mm thick, it contains a 59Wh battery, which, according to the manufacturer, lasts up to seventeen hours.

Acer will release the Swift X with model number SFX14-41G in the fourth quarter of this year in the Benelux. The manufacturer mentions a starting price of 999 euros, but it is not yet known which specifications buyers will get exactly.

Acer announced the Swift X at its Next @ Acer 2021 press conference. The manufacturer also presented there, among other things, a new ConceptD 5 laptop with a 16:10 screen with a resolution of 3072×1920 pixels. The manufacturer also presented new gaming laptops and monitors in the Predator series.
